Czech-American soprano Christina Dragnea began her university studies in 2014 at the Jacobs School of Music under the tutelage of Teresa Kubiak and Patricia Stiles, earning both a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree from the same institution.
Most recently Dragnea has performed the role of “Second Lady” in Die Zauberflöte with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar (2019), as well as the role of the “Nurse” in the 2019 production of Don Freund’s new musical theatre work, Star-Cross’d Lovers.
Dragnea is currently pursuing a second Master of Music in opera studies at the Royal Conservatory of Liège in Belgium. Her upcoming artistic engagements include the title role of “Pamina” for Lyric Opera Academy of Weimar’s production of Die Zauberflöte (2021).
